About the Symposium

ACS Publications will host its inaugural ACS Publications Symposium, Innovation in Molecular Science at the Friendship Hotel in Beijing, China on October 23-25, 2016. The three-day event, which features lectures on the latest innovations in the molecular sciences by the world’s leading researchers, will be held in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Chemistry, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS).

Institute of Chemistry, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) which was founded in 1956 is a multi-disciplinary research institute dedicated to the basic research as well as the strategic technologies in the broad fields of chemical science. ICCAS is one of the leading chemistry research institutions in China. ICCAS’s major research areas include polymer science, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and inorganic chemistry. The institute focuses on the following fields: the frontiers of molecular and nano sciences, organic and polymeric materials, chemical biology, as well as energy and green chemistry. Since its establishment, ICCAS has received more than 300 National, Ministry and regional awards.
